To write works that elevate the thinking of readers to consider new futures and radically different forms of technology in order to inspire meaningful change in the world.
Biography:
Trevor Schmidt is the author of four novels and several short stories. He's traveled to more than forty-five countries and doesn't plan to stop there. Trevor is the son of bestselling author Trevor Scott, who taught him to write his first story on a DOS-based word processor at age five. He graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelor's in English and lives in Reno, NV with a kitten he affectionately calls "The Dude." He is currently pursuing his Master's in Business while writing the explosive new science fiction series, The Corsair Uprising.
I blog about those things that are important to me. From the writing process, to science and technology, to entrepreneurship and tech startups. If you look hard enough, you'll always find a common thread that links to my writing in a meaningful way. Perhaps you'll even find a preview of a future book. When I write, I try to rip stories from the headlines and extrapolate what that scientific or technological improvement will look like 10, 20, even 100 or more years from now. In that way, I consider myself a futurist.
